Why Hai’s experience matters.
Hai Hu, PhD, is a bioinformatics scientist specializing in cancer research and molecular diagnostics. With doctoral training in biophysics, he has led the development of blood-based microRNA models for multi-cancer early detection.
That work established miRoncol’s first published proof point, including research reported in Cancers in 2022 and Scientific Reports in 2024. It also created the foundation for the company’s broader platform direction across oncology, cardiovascular, neurodegenerative and metabolic disease research.
At miRoncol, Hai leads scientific discovery and model development. The objective is not to search for one isolated molecule, but to use AI-assisted analysis to recognize disease-associated patterns across a broad microRNA profile.
