Information we collect

We collect information that you choose to provide through our waitlist, research-interest, contact, publication and other website forms. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, location, organization, professional role and interests.

Please do not submit personal medical information through general website forms. Information collected through a clinical or research program may be governed by additional consent materials and privacy notices.

How we use information

• To respond to requests and provide requested materials.
• To administer waitlists, research-interest lists, contests and communications.
• To maintain, secure and improve our websites and services.
• To meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose information only to service providers supporting these purposes, with consent, or when required by law.

Consent and communications

Where consent is required, the relevant form explains what you are agreeing to. Marketing consent is optional and may be withdrawn at any time by using an unsubscribe link or contacting us.

Safeguards and retention

Website security and service providers

Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish people from automated submissions. Google may process device and network information under its own privacy terms when the CAPTCHA loads or is completed. We also use a short-lived, keyed security fingerprint to slow repeated submissions; the raw IP address is not stored with the public form submission.

Service providers that support hosting, email delivery, website security and other operations may process information on our behalf, including in jurisdictions outside Canada. Information may therefore be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information in our control, subject to legal limitations. You may also withdraw consent for future uses.
