2021 Lung Cancer microRNA Research Presentation

From the miRoncol archive: This historical update may contain promotional language or research findings that do not describe the current service. Retrospective research results do not establish prospective screening performance, and references to scientific prizes do not imply evaluation or endorsement of miRoncol or miCheckup. Do not rely on this archive for healthcare decisions; use the current product information and discuss screening decisions with a healthcare professional.

Editorial update — September 11, 2026: Earlier promotional descriptions have been replaced with a narrower summary of the research presented in 2021.

The presentation described retrospective research on a four-microRNA model evaluated in datasets containing lung-cancer and non-cancer samples. The reported accuracy figures belong to that study design and dataset.

The presentation did not establish prospective screening performance, clinical utility, superiority to low-dose CT screening or an ability to diagnose cancer in an individual. People eligible for recommended lung-cancer screening should continue to follow guidance from their healthcare professionals.
