The world’s first published miRNA based MCED.

A monumental achievement in cancer detection has been unveiled! The world’s first published miRNA-based Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) diagnostic model has been detailed in the prestigious journal Cancers on March 11, 2022. This groundbreaking paper details a simple, affordable, blood-based diagnostic test with the potential to revolutionize early cancer detection.

This incredible study provides compelling proof-of-concept data for a 4-miRNA diagnostic model that boasts remarkable sensitivities (80–100% for ten cancer types, and ~70% for two cancer types) while maintaining an astounding 99% specificity across a large independent set of 7120 participants. This innovative model is poised for development using conventional technology, paving the way for decentralized testing and widespread adoption in the general population. This is a truly exciting step forward in the fight against cancer. https://www.mdpi.com/2072-6694/14/6/1450
