miRoncol Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Christopher M. Gallagher as its new Chief Medical Officer, effective January 2025. Dr. Gallagher brings over 20 years of experience as a medical oncologist and clinical researcher.
Dr. Gallagher has held leadership roles in prominent cancer centers and national cancer organizations, with a strong focus on breast cancer clinical trials, health equity, and fostering community partnerships. His extensive medical training includes directorships at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Gallagher is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology.
Dr. Gallagher will be instrumental in advancing miRoncol Health’s vision of transforming early cancer detection. His deep expertise and commitment to health equity will significantly contribute to the development and accessibility of breakthrough technologies, aligning with miRoncol Health’s mission to make early cancer detection routine, not rare.
